Steve Young has been a practicing CPA in Colorado since 2015. Steve received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2014, and his Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado Denver in 2015. Steve is a member of the AICPA and the COCPA.
Steve has experience working in Big 4 and small firms alike, allowing him to gain exposure to a variety of industries with clients of all sizes, focusing in the areas of investment management, rental real estate, and manufacturing. He also has a strong and extensive client service background, having worked in hospitality and private club management for a decade prior to becoming a CPA. Steve left public accounting as a tax manager in 2021 to establish Young Tax.
In his free time, Steve enjoys hiking, skiing, and exploring the Colorado Rocky Mountains with his two dogs, Mogul and Scout. He is also an avid world traveler who is always looking for a new adventure.
